Zero Tolerance Policy Announced as DOJ Targets Domestic Violence Against ICE
In response to rising threats, the White House has deployed National Guard units to Washington, D.C., and Memphis, and earlier this year briefly sent troops to Los Angeles amid similar unrest. Joint Terrorism Task Forces have been tasked with investigating domestic terrorism and pursuing the “most serious available charges” against those involved.
Attorney General Pam Bondi stressed a firm stance against violence targeting federal personnel, stating, “I have witnessed the continued onslaught of violence perpetrated against ICE officers across our country. The Department of Justice will not stand idly by in the face of such lawlessness. The rule of law will prevail.”
Bondi also warned that the administration will maintain a “zero tolerance” policy for political violence, declaring in a video: “If you so much as touch one of our federal officers, you will go to prison.”
White House Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller praised the measures, calling the federal crackdown a decisive response to domestic threats: “This campaign of terrorism will be brought down.”
The deployment and new enforcement efforts signal the administration’s commitment to protecting ICE personnel, securing federal facilities, and confronting domestic extremist activity targeting government employees.
