Family Remembers Dylan Watts as Loving Brother and Fighter

In the days leading up to his passing, Dylan’s mother, Suzanne, brought him home to ensure he was surrounded by comfort and family. His beloved puppy, Polar, never left his side. Plans were being made for his long-term care, but just five days later, Dylan passed away.

Caitlyn remembers her brother as not only protective but also deeply compassionate. “He always stood up for people who didn’t have a voice,” she said. “He was my big brother, my guide, even when I didn’t want to hear it.”

The siblings shared a bond over music and tattoos. Dylan had recently begun teaching himself how to tattoo and had planned to ink both his mother and sister before his health took a turn for the worse.

To help cover funeral costs, the family launched a fundraiser, which has already raised more than $3,300 of its $6,000 goal. Supporters have left heartfelt messages, sharing how Dylan’s story has touched them.

“Life is fragile,” Caitlyn wrote in a message to others. “Hold your family close and tell them you love them.”

Family friend Cheyenne O’Brien also reflected on the loss, saying, “Even though we knew he was unwell, it’s still such a shock. His family now faces both their grief and the burden of planning his farewell.”

Dylan’s passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who loved him, but his memory endures as a devoted brother, son, and friend whose resilience and love will never be forgotten.
