Newlyweds Killed Less Than 48 Hours After Their Wedding

A heartbreaking accident on a Tennessee highway claimed the lives of newlyweds Jessiah Plemons and Lily Rose, along with their close friend Madison Davis, just two days after the couple exchanged vows. The fatal crash occurred around 3 a.m. on a Sunday near the Weisgarber exit ramp along Interstate 40 in Knoxville, sending shockwaves through the community.

Authorities reported that the group’s Dodge pickup truck veered off the road and struck a guardrail before the passengers exited the vehicle. Moments later, a Chevy pickup collided with both the stationary truck and the victims, killing all three at the scene. The Chevy driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The tragedy came at a time of celebration for Jessiah and Lily, who had secretly married just 48 hours earlier. Family members later discovered the wedding through social media before learning of the devastating crash.

Loved ones described the couple as inseparable and full of joy. Lily, a devoted mother of two, was known for her radiant personality and love of life. “She was the light in our family,” said her aunt, Selena McClelland. “Her laughter could fill any room.”

Meanwhile, Jessiah, passionate about music, was credited with introducing Lily to her first concert and teaching her to play the guitar. Friends say their shared love of music symbolized the harmony of their relationship.
