‘Dancing With the Stars’: Who Left the Show During Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night

Shockwaves rippled through the ballroom — and social media — as “Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel and her professional partner Pasha Pashkov were sent home during Dancing With the Stars Season 34’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night on November 4, 2025. The beloved actress’s unexpected exit left fans furious, many calling it the most unfair elimination of the season.

Fishel and Pashkov performed an emotional contemporary routine to Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” earning 34 points from the judges. Though respectable, the score wasn’t enough once viewer votes were combined, making them the seventh couple to leave the competition.

Carrie Ann Inaba praised the performance, saying, “I felt the chills,” while fellow judge Derek Hough found it “a little disjointed” but still encouraged Fishel to be proud of her work. The actress had admitted that the style pushed her outside her comfort zone but said she poured every ounce of emotion into the dance.

Following the results, Fishel spoke with heartfelt grace. “It’s meant everything,” she said. “It has truly been life-changing, and every single moment, including this one, has been joyous.” Pashkov responded warmly, telling her, “You are now my friend for life.”

But online, viewers were far less composed. Fans flooded social media with anger and disbelief, posting comments like, “She was the reason I watched this season,” and “This is an outrage!!!! She should still be here.” Others questioned how higher-scoring contestants were safe while Fishel was not, one asking bluntly, “In what world does Andy deserve to stay and she doesn’t?”

Ironically, Fishel had shone earlier that same evening as captain of Team Chicago in the group dance round, leading Whitney Leavitt, Mark Ballas, Jordan Chiles, Ezra Sosa, Dylan Efron, and Daniella Karagach in a routine to “25 or 6 to 4” by Chicago. The performance earned a perfect 40 and even saw host Alfonso Ribeiro join in.

Yet despite that triumph, her elimination moments later left both the studio and the internet stunned — and many fans vowing the show “will never be the same.”
